Built and designed by MSU students and local fabricators MFGR. Designed with Rhino3D and Grasshopper.
A wave-like form that expresses the structure on one side and obscures it on the other.
Speakers walked through the obscured side (stage left) to the presentation.
Constructed of LVL ribs, Lexan Panels, and steel joints to hold it to form.
My focus was the 68 parametrically developed steel joints needed to connect the multiple custom LVL ribs of the backdrop.
